The Colorado Springs Real Estate Market Report for September 2017

According to the new data released by the Pikes Peak Association of REALTORS® for September 2017, the Colorado Springs real estate market is hotter than ever.

The Bottom line:

September is the month when we see a typical shift from the Summer to Winter season. The days on the market and list price to sold price ratios are still very low though. We are still in a buyers market with a need for more homes for sale.

Let's take a look at the September 2017 real estate market for Colorado Springs:

  • New Listings: 1,442 (Up +3.3% from last year)
  • Sold Listings: 1,509 (Up +8.5% from last year)
  • Total Active Listings: 2,145 (Down -12.6% from last year)
  • Median Sales Price: $275,000 (Up +4.0% from last year)
  • Total Under Contract: 2,279 (Down -.15.0% from last year)
  • List To Sold Price Ratio: 99.4% (Up +0.1% from last year)
  • Days on the Market: 26 Days (Down -25.8% from last year)
