Holland Park in Colorado Springs, CO

Holland Park is a westside neighborhood in Colorado Springs, close to Garden of the Gods and bordered by Centennial Boulevard and N Chestnut Street. This area features mature trees, established homes, and a classic neighborhood layout. Most houses were built between the 1960s and 1980s and range in size from about 1,000 to 3,000 square feet, with a mix of single-family homes and some townhouses. Jackson Park and Jackson Elementary sit at the heart of Holland Park, giving residents open green space, sports fields, and a playground. Douglas Creek Open Space adds natural beauty with a mile-long trail and 22 acres of preserved land. Streets are wide enough for on-street parking and lined with sidewalks, while local parks offer tennis courts, picnic areas, and easy access to biking trails. Holland Park does not have a mandatory HOA, offering fewer restrictions than some neighborhoods. Homes here generally cost less than the city average, and vacancy rates are low, making it popular for first-time buyers and families.

Students in Holland Park attend Colorado Springs School District 11 schools: Jackson Elementary, Holmes Middle, and Coronado High. Transit is convenient, with direct lines down I-25 only five miles to downtown and easy connections north to Monument and Denver. Local businesses at Westwind Marketplace include grocery stores, restaurants, and services for daily needs. The Gossage Youth Sports Complex, just across I-25, offers baseball fields, a BMX course, and skateboarding facilities. Sinton Trail runs through the neighborhood for biking and walking with views of the mountains and nearby Garden of the Gods Park. For fun, residents visit the rooftop patio at Red Leg Brewing Company, which gives one of the best sunset views on the west side. Fun fact: Olympic gold medalist and former UFC champion Henry Cejudo is an alumnus of Coronado High, just blocks from Holland Park.
